Metal cages
Our strongest packaging solutions are made of metal. These cages are designed for long-term use. They allow for the safe packing, storage or movement of goods. They could also be called transport or logistics equipment. They are ideal for use in various factories, production lines or logistics centres. In any case, it is a medium where the massive protection of the goods is important, but where mobility is also an important factor.
When we talk about metal cages, we are always talking about a device that can be used many times and is designed for the long term. They require a higher level of design and the material required is more expensive than, for example, plastic or paper. At the same time, they are extremely durable, can be used for a long time and what makes them truly immortal is that they are easy to repair and convert.
Their use is most common in factories and large plants where heavier, larger items need to be sorted and moved. They can be used very efficiently to move goods and, depending on the design, can be used to safely carry several products. There are also applications where smaller sized and heavy-duty carts are required. In such cases, the cage is made of strong plastic materials with similar characteristics to their metal counterparts. The movement is done by the cage wheels, which is perhaps their greatest advantage. No machinery is needed to move the goods as they can be moved on their own feet. To load the products onto the metal cages, you can also sort them, making your processes even more efficient.
Advantages of metal pallets over EUR pallets
- Goods placed on EUR pallets can easily tip over, but this is not a problem with metal cages.
- Its structure makes it much sturdier than a pallet. The metal cage will not break or become littered (no chips fall off) and the resin will not leave marks on the floor.
- The wheels make it mobile on its own. It does not require a machine, forklift or other means of transport.
