Heavy industry
Even machines and parts weighing tens of tonnes are packed with the care of eggs in a basket. If necessary, we can even pack up a complete factory.
If there’s one place where you have to deal with gigantic parts, this is it. We’re dealing with large and heavy items that usually require custom packaging. As a result, we often have to prepare the accessories for delivery on site. These are items that are difficult to dismantle, which require special attention. In addition, we are talking about high-value parts that must arrive in perfect condition at their new location.
We start with an on-site assessment
When we arrive on site, we always assess the items to be packed and examine the options.
We provide a free design and sample
Our team of experts will then come up with specific, customised packaging solutions, including a free design and, if necessary, a sample.
Packing on site
If we get a green light, we will then set up on the site. Sometimes the whole packing process took several months, for example when we moved a complete factory. In such cases, we also set up our own workstation on site. When we work on site we always have to design the packaging to withstand the weather extremes, not infrequently extreme conditions. Typically, a combination of different packaging solutions is required for these tasks. This is always determined by the specific elements, mode of transport and location.
We approach the task with creative perfectionism
During our commissions, in addition to our European clients, we constantly work with East Asian clients. Our work has evolved into one that combines European ingenuity with Japanese perfectionism. We believe that this approach is the key to our ability to adequately deliver even on very large orders.
We also build on our experience from previous work
It was a special task when we had to package a press machine weighing 52 tonnes. Another interesting experience was preparing a fly ash collector for a huge thermal power plant, while the ash collector had 1×1 centimetre hand-laid tiles inside.
